Lesson Structure
More stuff we cover...
Lessons follow a general structure of the following however, this may change during a lesson depending on the individual and what aspects they may need assistance and support in developing.
- Music theory
- Technical work (scales, warm ups etc)
- Pieces - exams and/or for fun
- Aural training (games to develop a strong 'ear,' rhythm,
musicality and prepare for AMEB exams)
- Music theory games & apps recommended for
consolidating music theory & aural training at home
Additional training incorporated into lessons at appropriate levels include composition and music notation.
